Claiming travel grant after academic year?
Perhaps it's on me for misunderstanding, but I thought that the travel grant claim should be submitted once all expenses have been made i.e. upon return to home country.
When I submitted it a few days after arrival, I got a confusing email about how I had missed the deadline yet could still receive money if my uni fills out a form.
I got that form filled out, and am still waiting on an update. That was early September.
The SFE site says these things typically take 6 weeks - is it normal that there was no acknowledgement of the form except an automated email, and if I just wait the next few weeks I'll get an update about it, or should I be contacting them to make sure they're processing it??
