I Want To Go Into Teaching And Have Some A-Levels That Are Related To Looking After Children, etc.. If I Chose To Do Primary School. I Think Sociology Would Help With That Too.

English Lit And History Would Be My Main Specialised Area. Its What I Want To Do At Uni.

:banghead:
I suggest English Language and Psychology too - both have child-related modules  My friend is applying to study primary teaching at university and she does English Lit, Sociology & Psychology. Generally, universities want you to have at least one curriculum subject - but you've got two, so you're ok.

I Was Thinking Psychology But When I Had A Taster Lesson, It Didn't Excite Me Like Sociology Did.

Don't worry about it! I think for primary teaching you have to do a couple of psychology modules? but don't quote me on that. It's better to do things you feel you will do well in and enjoy, rather than take things you don't like

Agree  My friend did health and social care cause she wanted to be a nurse. She then changed her mind and wanted to be a doctor, and is now in her final year of medical school. So she's not doing badly either

I do BTEC Health And Social Care too, none of the people in my class are drop out chavs, infact none of the people that are educated at my college are chavs anyway.
i dont no how must unis look at it butpeople on here seem to think its a very weak subject, like the weakest. i did the full a level in a year and didnt find it too hard tbh, it helps that it 60 percent cwk. ...i was the ony boy doin it tho

You didn't do Btec then did you? cos' the coursework is more than 60% there is no exams in it, you must of done AS! and mostly girls do it, i don't know why though ha.
i did the AS/A2 last year, i know the btecs 100 percent cwk or sumtin. im not gonna lie, it is a girly subject lol, i just did it because it was easy and i want to study sports science so thought the nhs side of it mite relate....a little.
