I’m planning to switch from aerospace engineering foundation year to mechanical hopefully.
Just wanted to know are you preparing anything for the year cause I have no clue like going over topics from GCSEs
Are you gonna bring a laptop or write it down physically

I’m not really going over anything. I have an ipad with a keyboard so im planning to take digital notes and type anything if i need to :smile:

Hi there, I got an offer for mechanical engineering with a foundation year. I wanted to ask how it was going with you. Is the course from Manchester different or more rigorous than a course from Nottingham, Lancester, Exeter, or another highly-ranked university? I am asking from an academic perspective. I am a bit concerned about whether I can take the pressure from this university. Please help.
