((Scotland) Previous Funding, Wanting to do a Nursing Degree

I have been looking on the SAAS website, and see they do fund second degrees regardless of previous funding for nursing degrees. Is it right in saying it is only for two years, and if I did a 3 years bachelors course I would only need to pay for the last year? Also is there any help if you have young children? Just wanting to clarify before I start applying for clearing, but have also applied for some HNC Healthcare Practises for August too which I'd be able to pay for with the student loan you get in September.

I am currently in 2nd year of a Psychology degree, but have previous funding from HNC's.
