I can't sleep
I can't stop thinking about my ex friends and how many people hate me in this world. In Islam, is it true that if people don't forgive you you won't be forgiven on judgment day and you will go to Hell?
no...this is not how it works...if you ask them for forgiveness with sincerity,and they dont forgive you,you're still forgiven...their acceptence to the request is not necessary...verily,Allah only looks at people's intentions...instead,Allah shows sadness and anger at those who do not forgive.secondly, Allah hates those people who keep hatred within their hearts, so forgiving people and keeping your heart clean from them is a quickest way to be close to Allah..so dont worry...you make your own akhirah by your deeds and intentions,rather than others consent...hope this helps and makes you feel better as there is nothing to feel guilty about
