How to get full marks in English Language Paper 2 Question 5 (AQA)

If you want the highest marks (35-40) then you'll need to include:
- Range of punctuation
- Range of vocabulary (ambitious)
- Don't use "the" at the start of every sentence, use fronted adverbials
- Small story (anecdote)
- Some sort of cyclical structure (AQA like this)
- AFOREST (alliteration, facts, opinions, rhetorical questions, emotive language, statistics, triplet) You can make up the statistics as long as they're realistic, no one is checking statistics they're checking if you can be persuasive.
Generally, this will guarantee you high marks - as long as you stick to the question and make your points convincing with persuasive techniques.
