Open university or college access course?
Hi,
I am looking to study electrical engineering, I was unsuccessful this year as I achieved my qualifications more than 2 years ago. As far as I see I can either got to a full time college course for a year and re apply to 1st year at uni next year or I can try get enough credits with the open university to join either 1st or 2nd year next year. Does anyone have any advice or has anyone been in a similar situation. The thing putting me off the college courses is having to leave my job and obviously dealing with a large loss of income compared to the open university where I could stay in work however it would obviously have less structure. Any general opinions on the open university would be welcome as well, especially if you have used it.
