Mathematics with Finance or Mathematics with Economics

Looking to work in the banking sector, primarily as an Investment Banker. What’s the better course for this? Which one is harder?
Have you tried investment banking degree apprenticeships? I am currently holding an offer for investment banking at UBS, and it's a pretty good way to get into the industry early.
Depending on the uni, the modules for economics wont be as focused in the subjects you would see for banking than finance. Economics can stretch as far as looking at other economies on the other side of the world and also usually doesn't have a great deal of accounting courses. Finance is much narrower so you will be looking at more things to do with what you would see in investment banking however you can basically become an investment banker with either route. Neither is harder than the other as it depends on yourself and the fact both of your courses include maths, it wont be too far from each other anyway. You're better off having a closer look at each individual module for each course and deciding which best fits your interest
uni will matter, not your course.
