York St John accommodation for 1st years

Hi, I’m applying for accommodation for york St John as I’m joining in September as a 1st year and wanting to stay in halls of residence. Any suggestions on suitable accommodation? I’m currently looking at St John central and city residence but any help would be appreciated

Hey,

St John Central is a really popular choice among students it's right in the city centre and only about a 15-minute walk to campus. The rooms are all ensuite so you won't have to share a bathroom. I've visited friends at St John Central and it's a really nice building

City residence is also a really good option it's located near our sports park and only about a 10-minute walk to campus. It is older than St John Central but I know some of the rooms have just been refurbished. Rooms are also ensuite so again you won't have to share a bathroom. City residence is also slightly cheaper than St John Central

Wherever you decide I would recommend applying before the deadline that way you should be guaranteed accommodation
