just general question

so basically I'm in first-year law, but I still don't know what lawyer i want to become, or in which direction I want to specialize. I'm worried about my experience. I live in Bolton, which is about 30 mins away from Manchester, so I believe there are not many law firms that offer experience here.as I will advance in my degree, it's going to be really hard for me to even apply to firms because there are not really any. any other law student could help me, who is in same situation, also any general tips etc
