What universities could someone get accepted in with these grades?

Loads too many to mention. Probably nearly all outside the top 20 or so. What subject are you looking at and what geographical area. For example in Wales most will accept those grades. Places like Reading, Royal Holloway, Surrey, Sussex, Kent and East Anglia

You should create a list of unis that suit your needs (i.e. location/city type/cost of living/uni size), then check there entry requirements on there websites.

As already advised look into courses and locations you like and go from there. Even universities asking for AAB often accept ABB. Go through the Complete University guide for English and whatever social science you are interested in and work your way down. Then decide on location and look at the course modules.

sociology is ABB at places like Sheffield and liverpool (both Russell groups if that means anything to you) - im doing politics and sociology at Sheffield this sept and it needs ABB
