GCSE math to A level

So im going onto do a level maths next year. im predicted around a 7 for gcse math this year. Next year im going to do A level math in 1 year instead of two, i know it will be quite hard but im very dedicated and have a lot of time to dedicate towards math.

I wantetd know if the jump between gcse and a level math is really that hard? i have taken a small look at some of the pure maths stuff and so far from what i can see it looks a lot like gcse with quadratics, functions, surds etc. but idk about mechanics and statistics. what do u guys think

For me I found it wasn't the difficulty of the content that was a jump but the pace that we went through stuff.

I can't speak for yr 13 as I dropped maths but yh.
