Hey,
I have been able to find a list, not sure if it is a complete list but looks useful: https://www.theuniguide.co.uk/advice/preparing-for-university/list-of-campus-unis-in-the-uk

I personally love going to a campus uni, as you are right that everything is in one place. I also found it made making friends quite easy because you bump into people you know all the time, and if you live on campus you don't need to get up as early for lectures!

Hope that list helps a bit

hello. You should think about your course interest and potential unis then check whether they are campus based or not.
Hey

Totally agree with the Lancaster rep, being campus based is so convenient having everything close by and feeling part of that community, seeing people regularly and dropping into events that are happening. I loved being at a campus university, but especially as it was close to the town centre too which was easy to get to, so it was the best of both worlds! Alongside your course of interest I'd say to take a look at how far the campus is from town/city centre and local amenities and how easy it is to get around by public transport etc.

Hopefully the list provided above helps!

Hi @izzy21234,

Looks like you’ve done your research! I’d have a look at the type of campus you may be situated at depending on your course. I know some places have multiple - like Chester! However the on-campus rooms at Exton Park are great as facilities like the library, cafes and bus-stops are right outside the accommodation building. Exton is the main campus - mostly academic studies, but is most accessible to get into town and around Chester. Perhaps this is similar to other universities? But it’s useful to find these things out before applying, especially if the university are larger or in bigger cities.

Wishing you all the best,
Ellie

If you want a suggestion for a campus uni, select University of Surrey.

Hi @izzy21234

We are a campus university- from one side of the university to the other is ~ 10 minutes walk. We are quite a self-contained campus, we are also a dry-campus to be more inclusive of all students. You can find a guided tour here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ea-4HRF2Ryw

An an overview of how all campus looks here: https://interactive.hud.ac.uk/

If you have any more questions, feel free to reply to us in this thread
