Hey Everyone,
With the end of exams approaching (almost there!), you could say that summer is on its way.

So, what's your plans between now and when uni starts up again in September? Are you heading home or staying in your uni city? Travelling abroad or enjoying a staycation (we've got a few ideas here: https://bit.ly/3Oz1267) in the UK? What about doing a part time job or internship?

Let us know!

Hi Sophie
My course still has a way to go with placements and some more lectures so I’m staying put in Manchester until then!
Hopefully the summer is full of resting and holiday-ing !

Thanks

Hi there!

Summer break is important for resting and recharging from the university year. That being said it can also be a great way to get some work experience and enhance your CV. There are many things you can do over summer such as:
- Volunteer somewhere
- Get a job
- Do an internship that relates to a field of interest
- Learn a new language
- Develop a hobby
-Travel
- Spend time with family and friends
- Do a short/online course
- Learn first aid

Best wishes

Joanna
