Summer Plans

I am doing a Neuroscience degree BSc (3 years) in 2nd year but feel like I am more into medicine. I would like to get work experience in hospitals but do not know how to start. Any advice or is it too late?

I've applied to volunteer in a gift shop at the children's hospital and am waiting to hear back so far but feel like I want to get closer.

I have a psychology internship over the summer but feel like I want to do more in the summer and do more than 1 internship. For those who have done this after their 2nd year, would you recommend it?

Thing is I am interested in applying neuroscience in
educational settings and collaborating with schools and universities across the UK to train and support
educators so am wondering if I should also do a classroom experience internship in my 3rd alongside my studies ( help out in a school once a week for 3-6 months).

Any advice?
