economics - 3 year degree

I’ve firmed an offer from edinburgh economics but stupidly didn’t realise at the time that the 4 year course was only equivalent to a bachelors and not a masters despite the title.

I’ve contacted the uni and am attempting to switch my insurance (bristol) to my firm, but i’m unsure whether this will be able to happen or not.

alternatively, i do remember reading somewhere when applying about the possibility of directly entering second year and doing a 3 year course, but can’t find any record of this on the uni website - just wanted to know if anyone knows whether this is possible for economics.

thanks for any help

It would appear that second year entry is only possible for certain subjects (mainly maths and 'pure' sciences)? Where second year entry is possible, details are given directly below the 'Entry Requirements' tab, e.g. for the MMath degree:

Whereas for Economics (I assume it's the Economics MA course you've applied for?), there is no tab for entry to second year, which would imply that this is not possible for that degree:
