Just 1 week prior to mocks I just got informed that I will give combined science higher paper whereas the whole year I was doing foundation. what should I do

I would ask your school to see if that is correct and if you want to change, ask to change. If they say you can't change then just do your best, revise as you normally would and see how you do. You may surprise yourself, you never know.

yess , its easier to get a good grade on higher paper compared to foundation
