You'd have to look at the course content, but general computer science is more maths-y

Thank you for your question! The course we offer at UEA is BSc (Hons) Computing Science, but whilst I can’t speak for what other Universities offer, this course involves programming, problem-solving and cultivating the essential skills of a computing professional. I believe there are some minor discrepancies between the two degrees however, I would prioritise what modules are offered and what you learn from it rather than the title! We provide a theoretical grounding of computing science that allows you to gain experience and develop skills in software engineering with the ability to choose optional modules and really cater your degree to what you want to do in the future.
