[University of Bath] Paying deposit fee before the results of scholarships?

Hi! I am a prospective international postgrad student who has received a conditional offer to Bath. The main requirement for me to accept the offer was to pay the deposit fee by July 4. However, the results of scholarships I've applied to will only become available only by July 17, and I cannot extend the deposit fee deadline anymore. Could you please tell me what to do in this instance if my acceptance of the offer is purely dependent on the outcome of the scholarship? Is this arrangement also common in other unis in the UK?
