Just needed solid advice

So I am nearly done with my a levels this year ( i did maths,bio and chem). i reckon at the very most I've gotten AAC (but I have a contextual offer so will manage to meet that). However was wondering, if I retake maths which i'm sure I have gotten a C in, improve my grade and reapply next year, would any unis like Imperial for example accept me? I know that my chances would be slim, or could I just apply for second year entry having done well in my first year at uni and resit maths and get an A?

Any advice would be appreciated!
