future prospects for a history grad

please be honest, what are the future prospects for someone studying history at a russell group uni? if you have studied history what are you doing now? is it possible to get into a non history sector/job? just trying to see if i am making the correct choice

Most history grads go into non history jobs. The vast majority of graduate job’s don’t specify a degree subject.

History degrees have a higher employment rate than computer science degrees.

If you look at discover uni for a specific course and university then you can see the range of job types and industries that graduates go into 15 months after graduation.

i don't know anyone who did a history degree at a russell group university, but someone who completed a history degree at Cambridge University this year will begin a job at a bank
