summer job? (15, finished gcses)

I’m looking to get a job over the summer to earn some extra money. I am aware that most retail shops only hire from ages 16 due to NI numbers etc, however, I have already been given my NI number. I’m 16 in late august but ideally I would be working before that. Is there anywhere I could work? (London)

Try boots the chemist okay as they employ young people from the age of 15 but you'll have certain things you want be able to do due to the age 18 restrictions but otherwise you'll be fine.

Supermarkets etc will only employ people from the age of 16 but again with a age 18 restrictions on certain departments.

Try some local small shops and see if they want any help..
