Would you consider that a back handed compliment?

My drunk friends have said these things- being honest with me about my looks

“slightly above average if I’m being honest”

“You’re not pretty but attractive”

I’ll admit that I know I’m not pretty but I everyone I know is super honest with me so I guess it’s better than them lying? My mum has said I’m a 7/10 which is kinda funny for her to say tbh lol

If I'm honest about your drunk friends - they're rude.

I agree with @Surnia - these friends do sound like unkind people. It is commonly said that what you say / do drunk is what you secretly want to say / do sober.

Perhaps think about who your real friends are, and whether you should acknowledge what these people are saying. People like this do not deserve your tie, and try not to listen to what they say <3
