Why would you book a holiday during term time? Did the university change its term dates or something?
Most universities have an expectation that you attend all lectures, tutorials, seminars, practicals etc. Missing the occasional one of two of these probably won't do any harm, but missing a full week of them - during the first term - will require quite a bit of catching-up afterwards. Assuming this is year one, you won't really know many people by then, so it might be hard to find someone you can borrow notes from.
Oh, that would be a problem. You should have planned holidays, trips, or any significant time away from academic commitments during scheduled breaks or holidays when classes are not in season.
