Student Banking Accounts, Will I have enough time?

When completing my application with my parents they told me it was best to wait for submitting my bank details for where I'd receive the money, allowing me to create a student account with a bank where I could receive it.

Now, when looking at accounts I see a lot of them with requirements for confirmed places, where unconditional offers or sufficient results are needed. Now I'm worried that when results day rolls over I won't have sufficient time to create an account with a bank and I will have started my course before Student Finance takes the 6 weeks to process it.

What would you advise I do? Should I just link my Current Account in the meantime?

You can submit your student finance application without any bank details and add them once your student bank account is open (both of my kids did/have done this). Or you can add details of your current bank account now and then change them later. Don't delay getting your application in though.
