B in higher maths for engineering??

I got my results and found out I got a B in higher maths 😭

What are my chances of doing chem engineering now?

Also will unis accept if I was to retake the course?

these are some of the requirements -
edinburgh = A in maths (i was 1 mark away..) and B in chem AABB/ABBB
heriot watt = A in either maths or chem ABBB/BBCC

Sadly got a c :frown:

im planning on resitting it tho to hopefully get a B or an A

Not sure, but if you get your grades up you shouldn't have much issue getting into somewhere for engineering.

Engineering degrees aren't generally challenging to get into if you have decent enough grades. The courses themselves are quite challenging so if you don't meet the requirements universities may be reluctant to admit you, but if you need to resit, and go on to achieve better grades, you shouldn't have much trouble getting offers.
