Should I take a gap year?
I'm in my last year of high school, picked my IB subjects based on what I thought I'd be interested in. No passions, no idea what to major in. I'm aiming to eventually pursue higher education in the UK.
Would it be a good idea for me to take a gap year? I plan to gain working experience, take public speaking classes, travel as I immerse myself in different cultures, volunteer, and hopefully discover my passion along the way. I hear a danger of a gap year is that it can turn into gap yearS, but I'm sure I like academia too much to give up on it even after a gap year.
