Given that Oxford Brookes don't offer such a degree, I assume you mean one of these:

• Automotive Engineering with Electric Vehicles - MSc,
• Motorsport Engineering - MSc, or
• Racing Engine Systems - MSc.

In each case, the normal requriement is that you "hold a first degree, equivalent to at least a British lower second-class bachelor's degree, in mechanical, automotive or motorsport engineering or a related discipline." However, they will also consider applicants without such a degree but "with relevant professional experience".

So if you have the required undergraduate degree, then you don't need experience, no.
