Postgrad Loan Rejected - Help!

Hi! I started a postgrad masters course in september 2021 and dropped out due to undiagnosed adhd, which i was then diagnosed with a year later. I’ve sent compelling personal reasons evidence twice now to try and get a new loan, but keep getting rejected - although i never receive the emails for this. I called today asking how my application was and it’s been rejected again, on the basis that my doctors note wasn’t dated for the year i dropped out. I can’t provide a letter from 2021 as I wasn’t diagnosed then, but the struggles that lead me to drop out were my undiagnosed adhd. the letter from the specialist does mention this and mention 2021 and I’m really not sure what more to add to the letter as it includes everything that has been asked for. I start university next month and without funding I won’t be able to go, I even have to begin paying rent at the end of the month. I feel very stuck and hopeless and I really am looking for help and advice to fix this.

Thanks in advance

Hi katiejcnes,

We don't have account access so can't check accounts to see exactly why it wasn't accepted but Compelling Personal Reasons (CPR) evidence must contain the below details:

The evidence would be a letter on headed paper signed/stamped and dated from someone in profession i.e. Doctor/lecturer who knows the CPR. They must know how it affected your studies and the dates it affected you. Once received it will be up to the assessor if this will be accepted or not.

Thanks,
Claire
