MMath or Bsc?

I'm doing a Bsc in mathematics at uni of bath this september. I want to be a quantitative analyst, but I'm unsure whether to switch to MMath or not. What would be best? I understand the difference between the two but I can't really comprehend how this would affect my chances.

You can wait until you get there to do this switch if you want to - at Bath there is a common year of teaching across all Maths pathways and so you have time think/ask questions about this during the first year and then switch to the longer degree if you want to.
