DSA renewal and student finance eligibility (postgraduate course.)

So I'm about to start the last year of a 3 year postgraduate course.
I had DSA support so far and it's been really beneficial although it took ages to get it set up. I have had a study skills and specialist mentor and it would be great if I can keep seeing her next year.
I've got the DSA renewal form ready but not sent it in yet.

The uncertainty I have is the issue of eligibility for student finance in order to qualify for the DSA support.

I was assessed as eligible for the postgraduate student loan, but the payments have been complicated because I took a year out.
I don't know if I'll get any more payments even though I didn't get the full loan amount (this has been a pain, but that's not the reason for my question, I've got someone supporting me with this through my uni's wellbeing support and I'm looking into alternative loans to cover my fees in the meantime.)

Does anybody know if I will get the DSA regardless of where my SFE account is up to?
Will submitting my DSA renewal have an effect on my SFE account?
