Books similar to ‘A Clockwork Orange.

Does anyone know of any books similar to A Clockwork Orange? I need to decide on one for my Adv Higher English dissertation and I’m not sure what to pick that will be of literary merit. I really enjoyed the book and how it handled the psycopathy of main character while also dealing with societial flaws. I’m less interested in talking about a dystopian approach although I will focus on it a bit. I was wondering if anyone knows of any books that deal with similar societal issues or even a similar main character/narration. Thanks!

This sounds like a really interesting topic to be studying, to me, 1984 by George Orwell springs to mind. Have you read this book before? might be a good one to look into!
