Should I get an Ipad or Laptop for studying Mathematics for university?

Unsure as to how useful a laptop can be in university and Ipad could be pretty useful for taking notes and doing working out. Im aware I could probably get by with just a pen and paper but for convenience sake I would want to get one of these two and I would still be using the device in my spare time and daily life so unsure how to choose which one would be most beneficial for university and personal life.
