Potential uni flatmate ignoring me?

Hi,
I found one of my flatmates on social media and we're in the same flat/floor. I've replied back to her comment but she deleted my comment and ive commented on one of her TikTok posts because we can't dm each other if we're not following each other. She's ignored me and I find it rude knowing we will be living with each other. Not being stereotypical but she's the 'popular' mean girl type that you would find in high school. What should I do? I don't think we'll get along if she's ignoring me and not even in person.

Don’t worry about it, you meet lots of people at uni, some you get on with and some you don’t. It’s part of the experience. Doesn’t seem like this person will be a best friend, but keep an open mind

But you are being stereotypical, and what is this based on when you don't know her?

Having 'mate' in the title doesn't mean that's what they will be. I've lived with people at uni, and that was it; we shared accommodation but didn't socialise. Don't start the term with a grudge already; she doesn't have to have you on her social media.
