Biology at Uni of York and Uni of Sheffield

So, I’ve got a place for Bio at York next year, however I was thinking of rejecting my offer and applying for Sheffield cause idk people seem to like sheffield more and everyone thinks it’s better i’ve only ever seen the city so havent been on an open day and i agree it’s nice but i’m gonna be honest i know NOTHING about the Bio course in sheffield and even the bio course in york how are they different yknow idk

Visit both york and sheffield, visit the campuses… which one do you like more? Since you mentioned, you have not been on an open day.

your links dont work ALSO well i LIKE sheffield’s campus alot but like shouldnt it really be the actual course that dictates where i should go ?

Hi! Not doing Biology, but I'm at Sheffield currently (doing Biochemistry).

I don't know too much about the course, but from what I know, I think you only have like...1 compulsory module you have to do, and then some labs which means you'll have a lot of free reign when choosing subjects that are interesting to you. And I believe that you're about to choose modules from the Biomed and Molecular Bioscience Schools.
