Has anyone heard back from UCLan for the MSc yet? Been a week since I had my interview and the nerves are killing me

I had my interview on Jan 10th and heard back by email on Jan 16th.

Thank you! They said it'd be by the end of this week but the waiting game is awful, I can't even remember how well/badly I did at this point 🥲 Did you get made an offer?

I know this is super early but did anyone hear from City MSc post being waitlisted this week? Also, has anyone on here had an unsuccessful application post interview from them, or do most people get waitlisted?

Hi everyone, I applied to City’s MSc SLT (pre reg). I had an interview in November then soon after that, I received waitlist notification. Is anyone else waitlisted at City? Does anyone happen to know how the waitlists are ranked or how quickly the waitlists move? I’m in suspense but I know that I just have to be patient. I would take the City place in a heartbeat if it comes through. Congratulations to everyone who’s had an offer, best of luck to anyone still waiting to hear back and my sympathy for anyone else who’s waiting!

Hi, I had my interview this week and I got put on a wait list- they advised on the email that they cant tell us where about we are ranked on the list which is annoying! have you heard anything back yet?

Hi. No, I haven't heard anything. I am surprised they are are still interviewing! At this point it would be interesting to find out how many people are on the waiting list, but I suppose we'll never know. Anyway, well done on interviewing and the wait list offer, I hope you (we) hear something back soon

No, nothing yet, unfortunately. It’s frustrating but I’m forging ahead to create some alternative plans (plans B, C, D, E) 😳 and just trying not to think about it too much.

Yes I got an offer and accepted it. I left the interview afternoon feeling like I’d done ok.. then by two days later I’d completely convinced myself I’d totally messed it up and I even cried ‘cause I was so annoyed at myself as I remembered all the things I wish I’d said in answer to the questions etc haha. Then I got an offer 🙃 it’s impossible to remember it objectively! Try not to worry - I know easier said than done. Good luck.

Is anyone else still on the waitlist for the MSc at City? I’m doing lots of breathing and yoga to stay calm and positive 🙂 It’s such a rollercoaster and difficult to plan from September as a teacher on the waitlist. I’ve given notice and I think I’ll either leave teaching for a while or pursue more specialised SEN / SLT assistant roles. I’m so happy to be on the waitlist but just don’t want to get my hopes up. I have no idea what the chances are for moving from waitlist to receiving a place.
