how was your interview? what type of questions did they ask i have no idea how to prepare
The interview was very relaxed. I got asked some questions about why I want to go to Manchester, what I do in my free time, why chem eng etc. I was also asked qs about my personal statement. I only had 2 technical questions which were quite difficult and took me quite a while but I got the right answers in the end and the interviewer gave me hints/tips. In the end I got a reduced offer despite finding the tech qs hard! Just make sure you learn couple specifics about the course at Manchester (how it’s different from other unis) and have genuine passion! Feel free to ask any other qs!
Me! And I’ve applied for chemical everywhere else - Nottingham, Birmingham, Loughborough and Manchester. It seems niche but it’s accredited by IChemE and i think im gonna specialise in chem eng in the fourth year! Biochem eng just seems much more interesting to me
