So Ive always had my mind set on doing science. Ive always enjoyed it whether it was physics or biology. In hs i realised i really wanted to become a doctor. However i entered into alevel and realised i enjoyed physics a bit more.
I ended up applying for engineering in year 13 but then ended up taking a gap year because i became conflicted. Honestly my whole life i thought i would become a doctor so i think thats why.
Last year i reapplied for medicine but foundation year due to my a levels (ABB. A in bio and B in physics and maths). I received 4 pre interview rejections and for the 5th choice i chose was pharmacy in the hope of doing medicine after but received a rejection post interview. Now ive reapplied for pharmacy through ucas extra but i already know im most likely to get rejection because i never did chem (even tho the uni only wants you to have done bio).
I dont know whether to take this as a sign to go into engineering or continue trying to become a doctor. I have pros and cons for both and they both seem equal to me but i think i want to do medicine a little more than engineering.
