Ego vs Self-respect

When you treat yourself like a Queen, that is self-respect. When you want everyone around to treat you like a Queen, that’s ego.

Ego: Thinking you deserve more than others because you are better than them e.g. feeling entitled to being taken to an expensive restaurant and a McDonald's an insult
another e g: expecting them to wait half an hour for you
Self respect: Knowing you deserve the same treatment as every other human e.g. not deserving abuse, eserving honesty, your time is precious if someone keeps cancelling on you or keeping you waiting.
another e g: expecting them to arrive on time and then leaving if they dont contact you after waiting for 10 mins fr them.
