Okay hey everyone,
I am currently doing a BTEC Applied Science course. My GCSE results are not great, I got 3 in Business + 3 in Design Tech + 6 in Eng Lang + 6 in Religious Studies + 44 in Combined Science + 4 in Maths + 5 in history + 5 in Eng Lit. Career wise, I want something pays between 30k to 40k as a starting salary in the UK, involves travelling ( this is optional), is in the science sector, respectable and interesting job. I was thinking of doing a degree apprentership in biomedical scientist but that is just an option, I have looked at radiology as well but I feel like there are a lot careers that pay well + stress free + its interesting. Can someone help me out?

Radiology is a medical specialism for which you need to do a degree in medicine. Do you mean diagnostic radiography (taking X-rays, MRIs, etc) or radiotherapy (the treatment of cancer patients)? Check the entry requirements for these courses - although BTECs are accepted, some unis will also require an additional science A level.

There are a range of other Allied Health Professions that might interest you:

Graduates from many AHP courses will enter the NHS on pay band 5 - currently around £28,407.
