Yes. Predicted grades are good for you to know the ballpark area for your A Level Results - if it is ABB, you know you could get AAA or A*ABl or AAB... They were based on your performance in year 12. So you dont apply to places with higher entry requirements, and get rejected when your A Level Results are lower.

All universities look at your grades, predicted or achieved.

Nottingham actually doesn't consider predicted grades for medicine when it comes to shortlisting or making an offer (although if an offer is made it will be the standard offer of AAA). I suspect most other courses they will though.

I think there might be one or two other medical schools with the same approach? That just score based on GCSEs and UCAT and don't consider A-level predicted grades at all.

For post-qualification applicants presumably they will consider the achieved grades though.
