help with future jobs

i’m currently year 12 taking psychology, sociology and english language, i aspire to be either a child psychiatrist or some form of lawyer. However, with my chosen options i’m unsure if i’m even able to take these courses on at uni, i’m open to hearing about other jobs! i’m really stuck at the minute.

You can definitely do law, you have the perfect a-levels for it. I think to be a psychiatrist you have to have a degree in medicine (?) which obviously your a levels aren't suited for.

You do not need any specific subjects for Law - just high grades.

To be a Psychiatrist you need to qualify as a doctor and then specialise. This is not the same as a Psychologist - however, even for this role, you need far more than just a degree in Psychology, see https://www.prospects.ac.uk/job-profiles/clinical-psychologist
