Can I put a job I haven't done yet on my CV when applying for a CV?

I have a job 100% lined up for November that would be quite good to put on my CV as I am applying for a placement. Would it be strange if I included this job on my CV even thought I haven't started this job yet?

You can't put a job down on your CV until you have confirmation that you starting with the company and then wait until you been working there for xx amount of time or until your contract expired if temporary.

Await until you been there for a good few months or more and then update your CV if you are applying for another job.
