Transferring to a new course in 3rd year

I’m currently in my 2nd year studying graphic design, however I’ve decided I want to do a new course elsewhere. My options are I can potentially transfer straight into the 3rd year of my new course or potentially do a masters in that course after I finish my current course. However I’m unsure which option would be better with less risk
