It's that time of year again- Michael Buble and Mariah Carey are defrosting and Christmas is round the corner!

But how will you spend the festive season? If you're going to uni in Liverpool, here's our favourite things to see and do in the winter term:

The Rock 'n' Roll Panto, Liverpool Everyman Theatre
Panto with a twist! The Everyman's Rock n Roll Panto is a hit with audiences every year, combinining traditional cheesy jokes and audience participation with a jukebox full of classic rock anthems and chart-toppers, performed live on stage. This year's show is Cinderella, and it promises to be a real Christmas cracker!

Liverpool Arts Market, Anglican Cathedral
Bored of the traditional German markets? Liverpool's Winter Arts Market features stands from over 200 independent artists, makers and designers. Here you'll find handmade gifts from prints to ceramics, photography and sweet treats!

Winter Cinema, Liverpool Town Hall
Each year the Luna Cinema returns to Liverpool to show classic cosy films in December. With films to suit all tastes, there's something for everyone! Films being shown this year include Elf, Die Hard, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and The Holiday. Pass the popcorn!
