Cold mother
I asked my mum if I could get a coat for my birthday, which was on sale for black Friday and it was just over £100, she said no and got so angry and called me a prostitute (in our language it's pretty aggressive). Just because I don't wear the coats I already have which I hate for good reason. I did start to cry not because I didn't get what I want but because of what she said.
Also she literally offered to get me a phone which was a few hundred pounds more so I literally don't get the logic.
My mum is just so cold and angry. She never hugs me and every time I hug her she has her arms by her side or angrily tells me to stop if I try more than once. She always used to be affectionate towards me before.
There's a lot more, but I was wondering if anyone could relate to me. It's quite soul crushing really.

Is your mother ill, under a lot of stress or close to pension age?
Could be that intense worry or painful health problems are making her feel angry & miserable and she is taking it out on you.
