how many quotations do i need to do for each character and theme?

I am wondering how many quotations do i need to do for each characters and themes for macbeth, an inspector calls and xmas carol to get a grade 9?

Hello! Im not sure if this is helpful, but 2-3 quotes per paragraph should be good if you analyse them well enough and in detail. I rememeber, I tried to have a few quotes that fit well with a lot of themes so it is easier to memrise. But remember, to get a grade 9, you should revolve it around an idea. For macbeth, you can do like shakespeare did this idea and used characters ect. So its not wise to spend a lot of time on quotes that only think about one character. If you have an exam, goodluck ^^
