Accessing the KSA loans room at Kingston University

Kingston University have an amazing facility called the KSA loans room. This is an online area where Kingston School of Art students can hire a variety of equipment for up to a week at a time and can collect the equipment on campus.

Students can access the website through the My Kingston share point on google. From the login page, you can tap on faculties —> KSA and then scroll down to reach the KSA loans room page. From there you can view all the details about the system before tapping on the link where you can view all the equipment and add whatever you need to your basket to check out and loan.

The type of equipment categories there is available to loan are: accessories, computer peripherals, lighting, monitors, moving image, photography, sound and vision, staff equipment, tablets, tripods and supports.

The loans room is open Monday-Friday 10:00 am- 1pm, 2-4pm. Their contact details are: 020 8417 7188/5447.

This is such a useful facility to hire anything you would want to use for projects, in and outside university. If you were also considering buying a piece of equipment for personal use, you can loan it from the University first to try out if you like it!
