A-Level History help nea

Hey all,
I am trying to write my nea for history and I am really struggling with how to structure and what arguments to use. my question is "Historians have disagreed about weather General Haig deserves his bad reputation for his actions in leadership during WW1. What is your view about weather Haig deserves the reputation?". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks and kind regards,
Reaper
intro......state your opinion
500 words reviewing the historiography
3000 words your argument
wrap it up....400 words

top tip........read the introductions of biographies of Haig, you can usually get them free on Amazon as part of the 'sample' pages. The introduction often covers the historiography of the subject.

For example:

Gary Sheffield's book: Douglas Haig: From the Somme to Victory, the intro covers a lot of historiography.

Brian Bond's: Haig: A Reappraisal 70 Years on. chapter 1 is pure historiography

other stuff...

top tip..............typo in your question will look terrible to an examiner: 'weather' vs 'whether'

post up a first draft if you want - happy to critique it.
