Potentially. It depends on the details. If you've just been stupid, then no.
Here is a case study where someone was the victim of a cryptocurrency investment scam. Her bank wouldn't help, so she contacted the ombudsman who, after examining the details of the situation, "asked the bank to refund all the transactions which took place after the point we thought it should have intervened".
